Judith Gordon Brings 35-Years of Expertise in Sophisticated Estate and Gift Tax Planning, Charitable Planning, and Trust Administration; Her Long-Standing Career Serving the Bay Area's High Net Worth Families and Individuals Adds Industry Expertise to the Firm's Already Impressive Roster
SAN FRANCISCO, CA --(Marketwired - March 24, 2016) - B|O|S, a leading Bay Area independent wealth management firm, today announced that Judith Gordon has joined the firm as an Estate Planning Advisor. Effective immediately, she will provide consulting advice for private clients and advisors on wealth transfer strategies, tax planning opportunities, and trust and estate administration, and facilitate coordination between the firm's advisors and its outside legal and tax professionals. Judith joined B|O|S following a 35-year legal career in estate and gift tax planning, charitable planning, and probate and trust administration.

Most recently, she was a founding partner of Grant & Gordon LLP, an estate planning boutique law firm in Palo Alto, which specializes in family tax planning for high net worth individuals. Prior to that, Judith was an Attorney at Gray Cary Ware & Freidenrich and Taylor & Faust in the Bay Area. She began her career as an Attorney for the U.S. Department of Labor in San Francisco.
She earned her BA degree in psychology from the University of Florida; JD from Georgetown University Law Center; and Tax LLM from New York University School of Law. She's been rated a Northern California Super Lawyer by Thomson Reuters from 2005 through 2015, and authored a chapter with Robert N. Grant on life insurance trusts in Matthew Bender's book, California Wills & Trusts. Judith lives in Palo Alto.
